About:

“I’m a Philadelphia based photographer who has been making art for the past 4 decades. After art school I photographed landscapes, still lifes, fashion and portraits eventually evolving into this current series influenced by impressionist, post-impressionist and surrealist painters.

I'm inspired by impressionist, post impressionist and surrealist painters. I joined DVAA to be part of a creative community and interacting with other artists. Since I joined I really like the kinship and the positive atmosphere.”

Artist Statement:

“I call this series “Project 1910 - Impressions of Diversity” because in 1910 the term post-impressionism was first used and I photograph a diverse group of people. I hope the colors, textures and depth evoke such painters like John Singer Sargent, Rene’ Magritte and Giavonni
Boldini. ”
