HOST YOUR NEXT EVENT AT DVAA

Da Vinci Art Alliance has made a home at 704 Catharine Street in the Bella Vista neighborhood since 1966. From stunning historic tilework when you first enter our front entrance to tall ceilings and bay windows in a space filled with rotating art exhibitions, to a permeable outdoor art installation in our back patio by Nancy Agati, our space is a great option for your fundraisers, cultural events, workshops, and mixers! 

 
 
 

What is included in the rental?

Our gallery is built within a 200 year old rowhome, with a similar layout to the original floor plan. If you rent out our space for a private event, you'll have access to our first floor and second floor galleries, as well as the kitchenette on the first floor and the bathroom on the second floor. We also have a small outdoor patio with a permanent installation by local artist Nancy Agati. You can see some photos of that space here. The kitchenette has a refrigerator and sink area, as well as tea and coffee machines you're welcome to use.

How much does it cost?

Rentals are $150/hr with an additional $150 charge towards cleaning fees. Set up time and break down time for events are also charged by the hour. A $150 deposit is due upon contract signing, which goes towards your final balance owed. The total charge for the event must be paid one week prior to the event. Are there discounts available?

  • Our current rental fee cover the bare minimum costs for DVAA to pay for staff expenses and cleaning fees to host your event. However, we do our best to work within your budget if the cost is too prohibitive. Reach out to rentals@davinciartalliance.org and we’ll see what we can do!

  • DVAA is able to host one discounted rental per month to directly support other non-profits and community organizations that are also doing work that supports marginalized communities. If you are reaching out on behalf of a group that we don’t already have a working relationship with, please email rentals@davinciartalliance.org and provide an overview of who you serve and why so we can approach our board with your discounted rental proposal.

  • If you are looking at this page because you’re interested in hosting a workshop or program that you think is in alignment with our mission, that does not have a rental cost and we are interested in talking to you!

Can I rent DVAA for an exhibition?

No. DVAA’s exhibitions are strictly scheduled for the following year by our Exhibitions Committee through our annual call for proposals. If you’re interested in hosting your idea/work at DVAA, keep an eye out for call for proposals on our opportunities page. Our Fellowship & Residency applications are available each May and our DVAA Artist Proposals are available each summer. Only members can submit to our DVAA Artist Call for Proposals. What are some ways people have rented the gallery in the past?

Dinner parties, bridal showers, baby showers, poetry readings, record release parties, film screenings, music events, weddings, book signings, private workshops, yoga and pilates classes, trainings, meeting space, and more!
