Since our founding in 1931, DVAA’s exhibitions and programming have been reflective of the visions of our membership. By joining, you’ll get access to DVAA’s platforms to share your work, professional development opportunities, networking events, and help guide the future of DVAA.
Who can be a member? Adult artists of any medium and experience level who are interested in building community with other creatives
How much does it cost? DVAA memberships are priced on a self-declared sliding scale fee. This ensures we’re able to provide space to people regardless of their financial situation. You can take the survey below to find your recommended annual rate. DVAA payments can be made through our website or by check. If paying by check please email samantha@davinciartalliance.org before sending so we can look out for it. We can offer this sliding scale thanks to our individual donors! To support someone’s discounted membership, please consider donating today!
Is there a portfolio review to apply? No. DVAA welcomes Artists at all stages in their practice and exist to help people grow. You can view our current Artist Members here.
When can I join? Whenever you want! Our artist collective is always accepting new members.

Each summer DVAA announces a call for proposals for the following year’s exhibition calendar. Only DVAA Members are eligible to submit proposals.

DVAA hosts members-only exhibitions 4 times a year within our gallery. We also partner with other spaces to curate exhibitions of our member’s work. Members must submit work to be considered for inclusion.

All DVAA Members can submit work to our public open calls for free. This includes tabling fees being waived for street festivals DVAA organizes.

Artist Members receive 70% of all artwork sales (non-members receive 50%).

Every DVAA Artist Member can receive an Artist Profile on our website featuring their artwork, links to their digital profiles, and a description of their artist practice. These public profiles are often used by outside curators when they’re working on projects.

The price of a DVAA Artist Membership is determined on a self-defined sliding-scale fee structure. To find the price recommendation that best fits your circumstances:

ANNUAL
DVAA Membership provides visual artists with a platform to share their work, build community and connect with our thousands of annual visitors. Memberships are for adult artists of any medium who are looking for deep connections with an organization and other passionate makers and creators.
Memberships are a main pillar of DVAA’s annual budget and are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. This product is for 1 year of membership with an automatic renewal annually. You will receive an email from Squarespace 1 month before your renewal to remind you of the charge. This subscription renews indefinitely unless you cancel it by following the directions in the email or by contacting the DVAA team.
DVAA does not issue refunds after 48 hours of purchase. This applies to all purchases made through the DVAA website including, but not limited to, memberships, artwork, tickets to events, and donations. If DVAA is closed during the time you are requesting a refund, email info@davinciartalliance.org within the 48hr window and your request will be honored.
QUARTERLY
