As an Artist Member, DVAA would offer you a platform to share your artwork, build community, and connect with our thousands of annual visitors. You would collaborate on projects, skill-share through workshops, exhibit your artwork in the gallery, and join committees that help guide the future of DVAA.

For our gallery exhibitions, DVAA uses an annual call for exhibition proposals to determine the next year’s exhibition programming. Only DVAA Members are eligible to submit proposals.

Throughout the year, DVAA hosts multiple Members-only invitational exhibitions. All Artist Members are guaranteed to be included in at least one of these shows each year after submitting their artwork to the DVAA Member Catalog. Included artworks are listed for sale in the gallery and on our online store, and are marketed through our social media channels.

All DVAA Artist Members can submit work to our annual juried exhibitions for free (Non-members pay $20).

Every DVAA Artist Member receives an Artist Profile on our website featuring their artwork, links to their websites and social media profiles, and a description of their artist practice. These public profiles are used by outside curators for their exhibitions outside of DVAA.

DVAA is a Member-led organization which means that Artist Members are pivotal in determining the future programming at DVAA. All Members are welcome to join Member-led Committees to help drive DVAA’s future programming. Our Exhibitions Committee reviews and juries our exhibition proposals, our Building Committee ensures our gallery space stays beautiful and functional, and our Fundraising Committee ensures we stay financially viable.
