Hindsight is a DVAA Members-only exhibition exploring the concept of time in relation to artists and their artwork. Is hindsight 20/20? The passing of time can alter our understanding of situations and events. Whether through scientific advancements, natural events, discovered facts, or an array of external influences, time influences our understanding the past. Hindsight describes the realisation of the significance of events after they have occurred. This exhibition showcases artists’ role in considering how COVID-19 has altered our perception of time, how art making can help us understand our present, and how our understanding of the past influences our decisions in the present.
