I choose my images inspired by a particular creature or creatures, images, patterns, color and texture. My process is not necessarily an intellectual or entirely conscious one. I never know what the collage will look like in the end; I only know there is a sense of something that I begin to see and feel as it evolves into the final piece.

Artist Statement:

“I collage because it is the artform that best expresses my awe of the world, people, places, things and nature. I assemble collages using various resources for images I meticulously hand cut in order to open new perspectives, appreciation for beauty, nature, the environment, life, humor and relationships. ”
