About:

Rebecca Conviser is a multidisciplinary artist based in Philadelphia, PA. Rebecca studied Visual arts and Design at Tulsa University, SUNY, and Illinois Institute of Technology. She has taught the principals of carpet and rug styling, design, color and documentary carpet design for schools including FIT, Mercy College, Northeastern Illinois State University and University of Houston. 

Artist Statement:

“I'm a life-long artist working in fiber, print making, drawing and acrylic paint. I am also a custom rug and carpet designer and for 11 years, stenciled designs on hard wood floors. I'm married and have 6 children and 10 grandchildren. I make art everyday!”
