About:

Tabas is a professional visual artist from Haverford, Pennsylvania. Nancy began studying drawing, painting and sculpture in 1990. Tabas’s extensive education includes training at PAFA, Main Line Art Center and with world-renowned figurative artist Bert Silverman

Tabas has shown her work throughout the Philadelphia area. Nancy has enjoyed great success. She is in many private collections in the United States and Europe.
Victoria Donohue reviewed Nancy in The Philadelphia Inquirer and stated, “Her work consistently has punch to it.” Marie Fowler of the Main Line Times also gave Nancy a wonderful review stating “Tabas, like French Impressionist Master Claude Monet appears to explore the same motif under different conditions of light and or seasons.”

Artist Statement:

Nancy Freeman Tabas loves the process of art and rejoices in every medium that will translate her ideas. Nancy’s artwork is a projection of her personality; energetic, spontaneous full of life and passion. Every painting, like every day, is new and exciting to Tabas.

Nancy Freeman Tabas loves the process of art. Her paintings are an exploration of color, form and imagery. Nancy sees the world as bright and hopeful and tries to portray this though her work.
