Lineage

A glass EXHIBITION JURIED BY JESSICA JANE JULIUS

Exhibition Runs: AUGUSt 30 - September 24

About the exhibition:

Drawing from artists all around the United States who use and incorporate sustainable glass processes, Lineage reflects the long history of glass as an industrial tool and communication device. As we delve into industry on a more personal level, our artists incorporated their’s and their ancestor’s memories into their creations. How can the subject of lineage lead towards the creation of alternative histories and futures? How do you trace your own lineage within what you create?

The exhibition will be on view in Gallery 2 at Da Vinci Art Alliance from August 30 - September 24 with an opening reception on Saturday, September 2nd from 5-8pm and a closing artist talk on Sunday, September 24 from 12-2pm.
