Land to Sustain
A group exhibit by the students of W. B. Saul high school
On View: April 10th - April 26th
About the exhibition:
The students of Saul High School will be exhibiting their artwork in the Third Floor Studio space of Da Vinci Art Alliance in congruence with the Everyday Futures Fest. The exhibit is entitled Land to Sustain and will be on view from April 10th - April 26th.
The artworks in this show were born from time shared dedicated to environmental education. Our collective acknowledges our human impact on the land and focuses on ways we can create consciously with more sustainable choices. This effort sparked a weekly ritual of creative collaboration between Saul High School Natural Land and Resources Management Students and Schuylkill Center Environmental Educators. Together we harvested natural specimens, collected recycled paper and re used trashed goods to create and experiment. We bonded through discovery and the shared sentiment that trash is to be treasured. We hope our poetry inspires you to think, feel and create something that wastes less.
