44 year old gay Hispanic in recovery. Self taught, working with various mediums including prosthetics, latex, special effects makeup, body art and painting. Painting was awakened during the pandemic and throughout my recovery from drugs and alcohol. Now, commissioned paintings as memorials for lost ones and pets.
Artist Statement:
In a world where I'm constantly questioning, " am I doing it right?", I have learned to take the first step. I'm not sure where to go from here. But, I've survived this far and it can't be for nothing.
