Christine Jeon, originally from South Korea, moved to the United States at a young age and spent most of her formative years in the suburban areas of Philadelphia. Although she initially developed a passion for art and painting during her youth, she took a break from these pursuits for a while. However, a few years ago, she reignited her love for painting and fully embraced her creative passion once more. Christine primarily works with acrylic paint. Her art vividly portrays her journey of self-discovery, skillfully capturing moments of serenity amidst periods of confusion.

Artist Statement:

"I have been motivated by a strong desire to reconnect with my inner self and pursue my passion for art. Painting allows me to express myself amid confusion. I use vibrant colors and textures in my acrylic paintings to create tangible artworks that bring me joy. When fully immersed in painting, I achieve focus and clarity, letting my brushstrokes speak."
