Climate Justice in Philadelphia: An Info Session and Discussion

  • Da Vinci Art Alliance 704 Catharine Street Philadelphia, PA, 19147 United States (map)

Led by POWER Interfaith in conjuction with Bill Brookover exhibition "The Earth Has A Fever"

Impacts of climate change and global warming are happening yet we don't know where to start. POWER Interfaith, a grass roots organization of Pennsylvania congregations and individuals committed to racial and economic justice on a livable planet is working on Climate Justice and Jobs.

We'll hear about current campaigns in Philadelphia to hold public utilities to account to reduce their use of fossil fuels and about the Whole Home Repair Program, which pays for critical repairs to homes and apartments. The program makes it possible for residents to stay in their homes, while also reducing energy costs and dependence on fossil fuels.

Together we can make a difference!
