with the Philly Moon Men and Eddy Rhenals 

Saturday, October 31st, 6:30-8:30pm, $20, Hawthorne Park. 

In this outdoor, socially-distanced astronomy and art course, you will learn about our Earth’s Moon and participate in a shading study to render its shadows and craters, with video feed from a telescope into a television.

Learn how to measure how high the moon’s mountains are and how to shade its craters. The Philly Moon Men will demonstrate how to view the moon through their telescope and Eddy Rhenals will teach how to accurately sketch what you see. Engage your imagination as you connect with your neighbors or friends through astronomy and visual art!
