The DVAA staff, board, and building committee has been hard at work this summer developing an additional opportunity to our members and Philadelphia based artists, the DVAA Residency program. This new program will provide 12 artists a free studio space within our building for one month throughout the year, alongside a year of mentorship from Mary and the DVAA staff and members through 1 on 1 meetings, new professional development member programs, group events with the rest of the residents and fellows, and opportunities to exhibit work.
The applications for both the Residency program and Fellowship program open on our website next week on September 15th and closeDecember 1st.
