Cameraless filmmaking workshop: Lino Kino members Maya Shengold and George MacLeod will lead this course in handmade camera-less techniques for 16mm filmmaking. Using provided found footage and blank film strips, participants will have the opportunity to splice together their films and try out a range of direct animation approaches such as painting, stamping, drawing and scratching onto film. Final work will then be projected day-of with a vintage 16mm projector. No film development necessary! This workshop is suitable and engaging for participants of all ages and skill levels.
