“I am a published illustrator and retired Assistant Head of the Free Library of Philadelphia's Central Library Art Department. I have been a DVAA member since 2007, DVAA Board member since 2008, Board Secretary since 2014, and member of Philadelphia's Art in City Hall Exhibitions Advisory Committee since 2008. I joined DVAA in order to show my drawings and to develop my skills as an illustrator. I enjoy the process of making my drawings and seeing viewers' responses to them. I continue to be inspired by DVAA's show themes, exceptional leadership and warm, enthusiastic artist community.”

“In my drawings I try to capture a subject's essence in terms of line, composition, color and humor, employing my own calligraphy as an integral design element.”
