About the exhibition:
David Meade Walker: Figure drawings, Portraits and Landscapes is an exhibition of artworks by the late David Meade Walker. The exhibition opens on the fifth floor of Atria Senior Living on Thursday, March 5th, from 4-6pm. Te exhibition will be on view to the public everyday, from 9-5pm for the length of its installment.
David's sister Sharon Eisenhour has been exhibiting David’s work since his death in 2012. Showcasing a wide array of his life’s work, this exhibition includes many media including woodcut relief prints, pastel drawings, charcoal, watercolor and oils. In a mission to keep his work alive, Sharon has organized this exhibition to share his whimsical creativity with the residents at Atria.
Having a wide audience was never David’s goal; his creativity was more personal. Through this exhibition, viewers will appreciate the personable nature of his work and recognize his lasting creative impact.
