About:

I’m a Philadelphia-based interdisciplinary mixed-media artist whose work moves across textiles, technology, assemblage, and traditional crafts. My functional design work, including lamps, tables, and hand-bound books, reflect my interest in how objects can communicate stories, shape environments, and invite emotional connection.
My artwork and create goods has been featured in the Harvard Staff Art Show, The Colored Girls Museum, Slought, Da Vinci Art Alliance, PEX Hallow Wasteland, Plant and People, and the web series L8 Bloomer.

Artist Statement:

My practice is rooted in autobiographical absurdism, exploring surreal interpretations of identity, memory, and embodiment. Curiosity and experimentation are central to my process. I am drawn to the tension between discordant materials—soft textiles and rigid metals, delicate botanicals and industrial components, familiar domestic objects and unconventional technologies. These juxtapositions create visual and conceptual friction, reflecting the often contradictory relationships between beauty and constraint, vulnerability and protection, achievement and adversity, and utility and symbolism.
