About the exhibition:
DVAA is pleased to present Printed Copy, a group exhibition Juried by Gina Dawson & Tom Marquet of Partners & Son. Exploring the beloved art form of Illustration, Printed Copy features the artistic skill and masterful visual storytelling from over 25 artists. The lively artworks cover everything from fictional worlds to intricate depictions of Philadelphia. Bringing adventure to life, Printed Copy builds imaginative narratives that are witty, illuminating and accessible for all to enjoy.
Printed Copy will be on view in Gallery 2 at Da Vinci Art Alliance beginning June 1st, and will be available as a video walkthrough shortly after. Join us for the opening reception of the exhibit on June 2nd, from 4-7pm.
About Partners and Son:
Partners and Son is an art gallery and comic shop in South Philadelphia. Founded in late 2019 by Gina Dawson and Tom Marquet, P&S showcases the work of small presses, indie publishers, and self-published cartoonists from Philadelphia and around the world. Partners and Son regularly hosts gallery exhibitions, book releases, and readings, as well as organizing the annual Philly Comics Expo.
