Philadelphia Futures + Legacies
A GROUP EXHIBITION at CULTUREWORKS
Exhibition Runs March 20 - July 29
Art Showcase + Panel Discussion April 17 from 5-8pm
The great poet Lucille Clifton said, "We cannot create what we cannot imagine."
Da Vinci Art Alliance, in partnership with CultureWorks, invited artists from across Philadelphia to submit artwork that responds to the theme of Philadelphia's futures and legacies.
The selected work on view reveals diverse perspectives on where we came from, where we are going, and where we should be going. Artists are integral to providing the blueprint for a better future. They are also able to show us our past in a way that allows us to think more critically about where we came from.
Let’s collectively start to visualize a common future that we can build together.
The Futures + Legacies: An Emerging Cultural Leaders Gathering & Art Showcase for this exhibition will take place on Thursday, April 17 from 5-8 pm on the third floor of The Philadelphia Building at 1315 Walnut St. Suite 320.
