About the exhibition:
Klainam on Nature: We Are Of It —
“I am exploring how humanity and the natural world are braided together, without separations or domination. I hope that the show will spark thoughts and conversations about how the systems and communities we create can honor and prioritize this sacred integration.”
Nature: We Are Of It will be on view in Gallery 2 from July 3 - 20 , 2025 with an opening reception on Saturday, July 5th from 4-7 pm.
ABOUT THE ARtist:
Gloria Klaiman is a largely self-taught mixed-media artist who has been making art all her life. Having received a BA in Journalism from Temple University, she worked for decades as an editor of both print and electronic academic, scientific, and medical publications, while also raising two daughters with her late husband. A few years ago, she was very fortunate to be able to begin working as a full-time mixed media artist.
Her work has been shown at Da Vinci Art Alliance, Atria, CFEVA, Lightbox Film Center at International House, Suzanne Roberts Theatre, Philadelphia City Hall, the School District of Philadelphia’s administrative building, ARTWORKS Trenton, High 5 Gallery, Montgomery County Community College, Imperfect Gallery, Center for the Arts Wallingford, The Plastic Club, Off the Wall Gallery, Wayne Art Center, Old City Jewish Art Center, Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, and Goggleworks.
