“I am inspired by the beauty in the world around me. I look to capture those moments when I am struck by the rhythm of the land, the dance of light in the clouds or the thoughts of a sentient being staring back at me. I often start my paintings outdoors where I can tune into the sense of space and color of a location and then finish or produce a larger format in the studio.”
