Artist Statement:

I work with paint, paper, and found materials, incorporating recycled domestic items like tea bags and discarded household paper. I am drawn to the quiet textures and everyday histories collaged elements carry.

My work explores abstract landscapes and skyscapes, focusing on the connection between memory and nature’s shifting forms. Through layered paint and paper, I reflect on how we experience the natural world—often in fragments—yet still find meaning, grounding, and resilience in it.

I’m often drawn to the sky as a subject, capturing different moments in time through organic shapes and patterns. These skyscapes act as portals—into past emotions, future visions, and shared experiences of change. At its core, my work is about care—for the planet, for memory, and for the small details we might otherwise overlook. Through my work, I hope to invite reflection on our relationship to nature and each other.
