Her work encourages viewers to consider how we create and experience protection during times of uncertainty

Artist Statement:

My work explores themes of protection, identity, and emotional resilience. Using layered materials such as fabric, yarn, and tempera, I create tactile surfaces that reflect the ways individuals construct and experience protection. I am interested in both the physical and emotional forms of protection—what we build, what we carry, and what we conceal. Influenced by my background in psychology and art therapy, my process emphasizes repetition, layering, and repair. Through this work, I invite viewers to consider how protection is formed in response to uncertainty, and how it can both support and restrict us
