about the artists:
Joellyn Ross paints non-representational work in acrylic. Her work has been shown at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, the Philadelphia Sketch Club, the Plastic Club, Cheltenham Center for the Arts and Perkins Center for the Arts. In 2018, her work was chosen for the Cerulean Gallery’s Annual Juried Exhibition. Her paintings also are in private collections.
Louis Gribaudo is a Philadelphia based artist, graphic designer and musician. In 1990, he made the decision to concentrate solely on painting watercolor landscapes and did so until 2006. Through that sixteen year period, his paintings became more abstract and these ideas set the precedent for his current work. He approaches each painting with an emphasis on editing and experimental paint application, creating images that connect the mathematical with the natural world. Louis attended The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts from 1978 - 1980, where he studied figure drawing with Marshall Glasier.
