Jean Solar

About:

Jean Solar (b. Chile) is an independent artist-photographer based in Philadelphia. His work includes a series of pictures captured on the streets of Philadelphia (USA), La Habana (Cuba), Santiago (Chile), Vancouver (Canada) and Leipzig (Germany).
In 2015, he moved to Philadelphia, where he participated in several community art organizations such as the Philadelphia Photo League and Fleisher Art Memorial. Solar also achieved a Digital Photography Certificate from the University of the Arts in 2019. Recently, he has taught photography classes at the Charles Santore Free Library to involve the immigrant community of Philadelphia.
