Artist Statement:
My work is an exploration of identity, heritage, and community. Through layers of paint, texture, and symbolism, I honor the stories of everyday people—their joy, strength, victories, and roots. I incorporate materials such as cowrie shells, gold leaf, and layered textures to evoke the richness of culture and the beauty found in our narratives.
My goal is to create art that reflects the people I come from and the world I hope to inspire.
