About:

I am a Philadelphia-based mixed-media artist, working primarily in quilting and painting.

Artist Statement:

I draw on elements from pop culture, including horror movies, album covers, and the history of fangirls. I make paintings based on these themes and incorporate them into my patchwork quilts. I am interested in how women and girls actively engage with and create pop culture, and making these types of quilts and paintings is my contribution to that long history.
