Join artist Richie Wilde Lopez for a free embroidery workshop that invites community members to contribute directly to a collaborative art installation, to be exhibited at Da Vinci Art Alliance.
During this hands-on session, participants will learn a few foundational embroidery stitches and use them to stitch a single word onto cloth—one that reflects their personal interpretation of legacy. What do you hope to leave behind? What do you want to be remembered for?
Each embroidered piece created during the workshop will be collected at the end and become part of a larger installation currently in progress. These contributions will be woven together into a collective reflection on memory, impact, and the stories we leave behind.
This workshop is a space for thoughtful making, quiet connection, and shared vision.
All materials are provided. Please note that participants will not keep their finished piece, as it will become part of the final artwork.
Limited to 20 participants.
