The Interwar Left
About the program:
"Critical Theory Discourse" is a conversational gathering led by DVAA Exhibitions & Programming Director, Bryant Girsch. This program allows DVAA members to tackle challenging works of art theory and history together.
About this event:
This month's "Critical Theory Discourse" session will focus on the Interwar Left. We will be discussing The Aesthetic Dimension (chapter 1), by Herbert Marcuse and Art and the Social World: The Frankfurt School, essay by John W. Murphy.
