Art Quilters Celebrate Independence - Studio Art Quilt Associates at Moore College of Art & Design

  • Da Vinci Art Alliance 704 Catharine Street Philadelphia, PA, 19147 United States (map)

This juried, traveling exhibition premieres in Philadelphia, in honor of our 250th. Each of the 39 quilted artworks delves into themes of independence, democracy, hope, and frustration in our country today. They connect with America’s storied past while representing exciting conceptual and technical innovations that affirm the art quilt as a contemporary fine art medium.

Your docent, Eleanor Levie, is a DVAA member, an organizer of the exhibition, a quilt historian, author, and art quilter.
