About:

Brooke is a mixed media fibers artist and photographer based in Philadelphia, PA. She received a BA in Visual Studies from Tyler School of Art and Architecture in 2021. With a background in textiles and photographic processes, her practice focuses on the relationship between embroidery, weaving, printing, and collage. Brooke enjoys combining techniques and experimenting with new textures and materials within her pieces. She draws inspiration from quiet beauty, shadows, nostalgia, and natural forms. Her fibers work has recently been exhibited at Tyler School of Art and Architecture, The Arts League, The Resource Exchange, and Fabriq Gallery. Her collages and photography have been published in Collide Magazine, The Mini Collage Collective, Kick Mag, and by Domino Press. Brooke also continues her vending journey selling embroidered pieces at art markets throughout the city.
