Florence Weisz recently (January 2018) relocated to Pennsylvania. Florence had established a full time studio art practice and enjoyed many opportunities to sell and exhibit her art throughout the Metro New York region and beyond when she lived in Northern New Jersey. Now she is pleased to be finding a place for herself in the vibrant art community of the Philadelphia area. Florence has set up an art studio in Wynnewood, PA, creating a new body of work and exhibiting through art organizations she has joined: DaVinci Art Alliance (DVAA), InLiquid, ARTsisters, Tri-State Artists Equity, The Center for Established Visual Artists (CFEVA); She is a Professional Artist Member (PAM) of the Mainline Art Center and is a founding member of Philadelphia CollageWorks.

Artist Statement:

“My primary medium is paper collage. I have explored many subjects over the years creating my own distinctive materials in many media including alcohol-based ink collage paintings, assemblage, and digital imaging. I search for innovative ways to express a variety of visual themes. One on-going series is called ‘Sensuous Stripes’”
