About the Exhibit:
The fundamental magic of art lies in its ability to tell the world who we are, and where we come from. A tool used to capture the most poignant of human formulations: the feeling of home. It has been (and always will be) the role of painting, sculpture, fiber art, and photography to comfort us. A portal transporting us back to what is familiar and safe. In Family Room, Da Vinci Art Alliance brings the artwork of over 60 DVAA members together in a frenzy of color and texture all working towards capturing the essence of home.
Family Room will be on view in Gallery 2 at Da Vinci Art Alliance beginning August 24th, and will be available as a video walkthrough shortly after. Join us for the opening reception of the exhibit on August 25th, from 4-7pm.
