Artist Memberships
DVAA’s Artist Membership provides visual artists with a platform to share their artwork, build community, and connect with our thousands of annual visitors. Artist Memberships are for adult artists of any medium who are looking for deep connections with an organization and other passionate makers and creators. Comprised of local artists working in various mediums, our Artist Members collaborate on projects, skill-share with workshops, and exhibit their artwork in our gallery. Members also often join one of our many Member-led Committees to help guide the future of DVAA.
Our Artist Members range in age, discipline, and experience, which cultivates an ever-evolving dialogue amongst them. Artists at all experience levels are welcome to become a DVAA Artist Member! View our current Artist Members here.

For our gallery exhibitions, DVAA uses an annual call for exhibition proposals to determine the next year’s exhibition programming. Only DVAA Members are eligible to submit proposals.

Throughout the year, DVAA hosts multiple Members-only invitational exhibitions. All Artist Members are guaranteed to be included in at least one of these shows each year after submitting their artwork to the DVAA Member Catalog. Included artworks are listed for sale in the gallery and on our online store, and are marketed through our social media channels.

All DVAA Artist Members can submit work to our annual juried exhibitions for free (Non-members pay $20).

Every DVAA Artist Member receives an Artist Profile on our website featuring their artwork, links to their websites and social media profiles, and a description of their artist practice. These public profiles are used by outside curators for their exhibitions outside of DVAA.

DVAA is a Member-led organization which means that Artist Members are pivotal in determining the future programming at DVAA. All Members are welcome to join Member-led Committees to help drive DVAA’s future programming. Our Exhibitions Committee reviews and juries our exhibition proposals, our Building Committee ensures our gallery space stays beautiful and functional, and our Fundraising Committee ensures we stay financially viable.

Artist Members receive 70% of all artwork sales (non-members receive 50%).
An annual Artist Membership costs $295, however, we have created a system to remove the price barrier for prospective Artist Members who may be experiencing financial hardship. The price of a DVAA Artist Membership can now be determined on a self-defined sliding-scale fee structure. To find the price recommendation that best fits your individual circumstance, please fill out the survey below before purchasing your membership.
Memberships are a main pillar of DVAA’s annual budget and are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
SELF-DEFINED Sliding-Scale ARTIST Membership
If you are purchasing an Artist Membership, please fill out the sliding-scale survey, then purchase an Artist Membership at the amount provided to you in the survey.
Artist Memberships are annual commitments, though the cost can be split into quarterly payments for your convenience (select this option when you purchase).
After filling out the survey, if your recommended price is $0 annually, please reach out to saramae@davinciartalliance.org to set up your account.
We are able to offer a sliding scale model thanks to individual donors!
