About:

Veronica Knell is an artist and illustrator based in Philadelphia, PA. Her work mainly consists of illustrations in gouache and oil paints. With a background in both environmental science and vintage merchandising, her work is heavily inspired by nature and fashion. Through her art, she intends to disrupt the traditional concepts of human beauty on both an internal and external level.

Artist Statement:

“My art intends to represents the nuances of femininity, as I live and see it. Painting has become a personal journey of mine, one where I am finding my voice and learning to love and accept myself. Caught in moments of dreamy self-reflection, each painting offers a glimpse into this journey.”
