About:
I am an artist, athlete, and barista born and raised in Raleigh, NC (2002) and as of 2021 I live in Philadelphia, PA pursuing new experiences and endeavors in the art world. I was known for my creativity beginning at a very young age, and have continued to relentlessly and obsessively create through all of my adolescence.
Artist statement:
“I cannot help but make art reflecting the state of my mental health, my identity as a queer individual, and a spiritual connection with nature. My work is characterized by expressive color palettes, storytelling, and imaginative characters. I use art as an outlet to process emotion and communicate with the world, using it to come to terms with and try to understand the nature of being alive. In recent months I have come to experiment with the idea of art as a form of manifesting that which I desire- highlighting the good as a focal point, romanticizing the normalcy of being okay.”
