About:

I grew up in State College, Pennsylvania and received my BFA in Graphic Design from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, Philadelphia. My graphic design background gives me a strong sense of composition and color and my sense of humor also filters into my work.

Before I started painting full time I was working as a ceramicist creating slab-built vases and sculpture as well as custom glazed tiles.
My paintings have been displayed in 2022 MVVO Ad Art Show at the Oculus in the World Trade Center NYC, Steamboat Art Museum in Steamboat Springs CO, and Howland Art Center, Beacon, NY along with other venues.

Artist Statement:

My narrative still-life paintings are a visual homage to the overlooked entities in our daily lives. I create compositions of everyday objects which do not so much mirror their real-life counterparts as deeply evoke a sense of life as it is remembered. These complex arrangements of ordinary things connect with my audience through universal experience and use of color, form, and texture. I want to evoke a sense of nostalgia, while exploring the motifs of relationships and otherness, time, and the joyous chaos of living.
