public Opening Reception:

Sunday, August 4th, 12-3pm

About the exhibition:

If the universe was created in 7 days, what happened on day 8? Number 8 allows the audience to take a break from the treadmill of their own lives and simply be present in what is. The exhibition is meant to be a space of contemplative respite; the artist’s hope is for her audience to be immersed in her paintings and ponder the number 8, both to themselves and in dialogue (if they wish). Through the open lens of Number 8, Sally will invite us to connect as a community to provide and share our own interpretations as we contemplate ways in which we are all connected.

About the Artist:

Sally Eisenberg grew up in a small town in south central Pennsylvania and has been residing in Philadelphia for over 35 years.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Drexel University and a Certification in Holistic Health Coaching from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Columbia’s Teachers College.  Over the last ten years, Sally has melded her passion for healthy food, lifestyle and art by offering cooking classes and empowering others to find the art in preparing healthy food. When she isn’t in her kitchen, Sally spends a majority of her time in her art studio getting messy and creating.
