Artist Statement:
My art is my emotions. I am lucky to have been loved and provided for all my life. Art brings me respect and self worth. No plan is made before making art. I meditate and let it make itself as a face in the clouds becomes defined. It is like getting a gift after a work is finished.
About Art: (ACAC) Alien City-Scapes Artistic Civilizations Digital Photography Collage
Alien City-Scapes (landscapes) are unique visions made entirely from Digital Photography. Result of an interest in science fiction and driven by a curiosity of what alien life may look like. David began seeing parts of distant worlds through everyday earthly items. Each took on a dual identity as both regular objects and as a part of an imagined universe. Using his own photographs and Adobe Photoshop, shapes were cut out, size changed, made transparent, and duplicated. These pieces were then put together like building blocks through imagination and persistence, hence new worlds were born.
